One of the activities of CSEC in past several years is organizing seminars for helping the librarians of schools in Delhi to air their concerns about the detoriating state of libraries in schools.

A seminar is organized almost every year since 2002. This year this seminar was organized from Feb 24-25.

Meetings organized by the School Libraries Development Group has been a regular activity supported by CSEC for last five years. The person primarily involved in giving it leadership is Mr. Vijay Kumar, a school librarian and a former activist of Eklavya. I have been almost regularly participating in events organized by it. In the last two years it organized two seminars.

2. An International Conference for Reading, Libraries and School Education was organized Jointly by CSEC and Vidya Bhavan Society at Udaipur from 3-5 October 2008. The abstract of my talk in this conference is available here
